Coachella Festival - 2026 live stream

 

Since there’s no Glastonbury live stream this year, I decided to do these quick posts about a couple other live streams. But of course, there is nothing like Glastonbury, and Coachella line-up could feel a little disappointing for those mostly interested in indie/alternative music (not to mention jazz, for example). The absence of Pitchfork Festival will be definitely felt this year, however, we can still prepare for Primavera Sound and Fuji Rock.

The good things about Coachella livestream: they are broadcasting every stage and the stream is available for free on YouTube, without any geoblocking drama. However – from my experience, the broadcast is often unsatisfying. The hosts can be annoying, the performances shortened, not always broadcast in full, if deemed „not worth it”. Very often, the stream is delayed and not actually live – I wrote this post with original hours in mind, but I already corrected it when the live stream schedule was announced.

On the other hand, Glastonbury has a geoblock and it always starts late, without broadcasting earlier acts. So the perfect festival live stream doesn’t exist.

This is my recommended live stream schedule, but I’d like to note: this year, I won’t be watching most of the festival live. The line-up isn’t just as good anymore! To fullfill the tradition, I think I can stay for Friday stream, since it’s the most interesting of the three. I also know how to watch all the performances on demand – they are recorded and shared on Reddit (if you are interested, contact me through e-mail mawoj93@gmail.com or social media and I can tell you how to find it). So I have less motivation to stay at night., but I think I will tonight.
